Hey everyone, welcome to the new DevBlog. I’ll try to keep this updated weekly.
As some of you may know, I launched FPS Wizard on the Unreal Marketplace two weeks ago, and it’s been great to see so many people so enthusiastic about it. I’ll share a bit of what I’ve been working on since launch. For the past few weeks, (in addition to fixing some bugs at launch) I’ve been working on the 1.1 update. There’s some great new features that are coming: including burst fire, headshots (separate head/body damage values), multi-message support for the HUD, and accuracy bias (bias’s the bullets towards/away from the center of the accuracy cone). There’s also some minor performance and usability tweaks (such as changing pickups from OnHit events to OnOverlap instead). I’ve also been plotting out a roadmap for 1.2 and 1.3. That’s all for this week’s update; but make sure to tune in next week for more!
